  GENERAL INFORMATION
Abdul Latif Jameel Center is the largest and most progressive rehabilitation and health care facility in Saudi Arabia. It has 192 beds on eight wards. Patient rooms, treatment and relaxation areas are specially built. Each patient room has an ensuite bathroom.

The center is located in the North East of Jeddah set in beautifully landscaped grounds.

SERVICES A graded rehabilitation program is provided with patients progressing through the various units within the center ACUTE REHABILITATION CENTER Patients are admitted to this unit following assessment by the multidisciplinary team. Emphasis will shift from the patient being a passive recipient of services, as in acute care hospitals, to an active doer in order that the patient can explore the meaning and acquire the necessary skills to cope with a possible handicap. This department offers intensive training in daily living skills aimed at enabling the patient to function at optimum levels. All programs are individualized and medically supervised. PROVISIONAL HOUSING UNIT Following successful completion of the intensive rehabilitation program, patients will be transferred to this unit. Emphasis is now placed on building the confidence of the patient and family by providing the minimum level of supervision necessary in all activities.
