If your qualifications are NOT, this only means that IHR can not help you finding a job and we suggest that you approach a local agency. Unfortunately, unless an agency is listed on our web site, then we do not have any associate in your country. You might want to consider searching in local papers or get in touch with the relevant embassy in your country of residence.

Kindly review below the guidelines for the qualifications and experience required to the medical positions. Hospitals may choose to require more years of experience in some cases also, for senior positions, additional relevant experience is required.

NURSING JOBS:

• Positions available only for Registered Nurses (RNs) holding current registration/ license from US, Canada, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia and other countries in Western Europe. 
• A minimum of two years experience in a hospital (preferably 200+ beds). 
• Specialty nurses need one to two years in that area.
• The Health Authority in UAE require a 3 years Nursing Diploma or a BSN as a minimum qualifications.

PHYSICIANS JOBS:

• For a Consultant (attending) position, three years of experience after the post qualification degree (i.e. Board Certification (US), CCST/CCT/MRCOG (UK & Ireland) and must be on the subspecialty list, FRCP (Canada), Facharzt (Germany), DIS/DES and member of Order de Medcine (France), Fellowship from New Zealand/Australia or equivalent from the rest of Western Europe.
• Some non-consultants positions may be available for candidates with less experience (Associate Consultant/Specialist positions).
• CURRENT LICENSE TO PRACTICE IS A MUST

MEDICAL LABORATORY JOBS:

• BS Degree / Diploma
• ASCP (USA), CSMLT (Canada), Fellowship/Membership of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technologists (UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand) or equivalent from other countries in Western Europe with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience post registration/certification in an acute care hospital.

• Current Registration/License by professional body (CAMRT, AART, etc) or equivalent with a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience post certification in an acute care hospital.
