Did you know you may not have to pay Canadian tax while you are overseas? You have to make what Revenue Canada calls a "clean break". They have a questionnaire (and a lot of other information) they will send you to let you know whether they think your responses indicate that in their opinion you're making a clean break.

You can obtain Revenue Canada Form NR73 "Determination of Residency Status (Leaving Canada)". This form is available online in PostScript and PDF formats.

Arab law Interesting information on Saudi Arabian law. You should know that the Royal Family has almost absolute power. These are total dictatorships. There are many restrictions on personal life which you must be aware of before you make a commitment to work in these countries. Arab States are not democracies and the rights Westerners take for granted do not apply.
