SUITABLE CANDIDATES PER CATEGORY
(Qualifications & Experience Required)
IHR is located in North America (Canada) and holds agreements
with hospitals in the Arabian Gulf region to provide them with Medical
Personnel qualified and trained in North America, Western Europe, Australia
and New Zealand.
If your qualifications are NOT, this only means that IHR cannot help
you finding a job and we suggest that you approach a local agency.
Unfortunately, unless an agency is listed on our web site, then we
do not have any associate in your country. Look in local papers or contact
the relevant embassy in your country of residence.
The Following are the minimum requirements for starting positions,
hospitals may require more years of experience. For senior positions,
extra relevant experience is required.
NURSING:
- Positions available only for Registered Nurses (RNs) holding current
registration/ license from US, Canada, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia
and other countries in Western Europe.
- A minimum of two years experience in a hospital (preferably 200+ beds).
- Specialty nurses need one to two years in that area.

PHYSICIANS:
- Most Hospitals in Saudi Arabia would have consultants' positions
available for physicians with three years experience after the post
qualification degree (i.e. Board Certification (US), FRCS (UK / Ireland),
MRCP (UK / Ireland), FRCP (Canada), Facharzt (Germany) or equivalent
from (Sweden, DIS / DES (France), Fellowship from South Africa (Not
all Hospitals though).
- Five years experience after the post qualification degree (as above)
for most positions in UAE. Physicians from UK and Ireland require to
be on the Specialty List.
- Some non-consultants' positions may be available for candidates with
less experience (Associate Consultants / Specialists positions).
- Some hospitals in STATE OF Qatar may accept following Qualifications
for some Consultants' positions: Master Degree form Egypt, Master Degree
from India, Arab Board, Jordanian Board. TEN (10) years of experience
post these qualifications is a must.
- CURRENT LICENSE TO PRACTICE IS A MUST

MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGISTS:
- BS Degree / Diploma
- ASCP (USA), CSMLT (Canada), Fellowship/Membership of the Institute
of Medical Laboratory Technologists (UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand)
or equivalent from other countries in Western Europe with a minimum
of 2 to 3 years of experience post registration/certification in an
acute care hospital.

DIAGNOSTIC RADIOLOGISTS (x-ray, CT, MRI, Radiation Therapists, etc.):
- Relevant Diploma
- Current Registration/License by professional body (CAMRT) or equivalent
with a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience post certification in an acute
care hospital.

- BS in Pharmacy
- Clinical Pharmacists, Pharm D.

or equivalent with a minimum of 2-3 years experience post registration
in an acute care hospital.

PHYSIOTHERAPISTS AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS:
- BS Degree / Diploma

- AA or BS Degree
- RRT (USA) or CORT (Canada)
- Most positions require arts with a minimum of two years current critical
care experience in a hospital set up.

- B.S. of Engineering is a must.
- Positions available for electrical/mechanical and biomedical engineers
with experience (minimum three years in a hospital set-up) post certification.

- Relevant educational background with a minimum of 2-3 years relevant
experience in an acute care hospital.
