It is with great pleasure I write this testimonial on behalf of IHR – Canada and Mr. Ghassan Ibrahim. My professional relationship with Mr. Ibrahim dates back to the 90’s when he helped me get the position of chairman of academic affairs at Al-Mafraq Hospital in Abu-Dhabi, UAE. It was a most rewarding experience for me, keeping in mind that, that was my first overseas experience, as I lived and practiced in the USA after completing my general surgery residency at AUBMC in 1988. Mr. Ibrahim, or Gus as we all like to call him, stayed in touch with me during my tenure at Al-Mafraq and made sure that my experience there lived to my expectations, and actually visited with us in Abu Dhabi during that time. I kept in touch with Gus since then, exchanging thoughts and relative expertise in the field of healthcare, but more important to me was that we became close friends who check on each other welfare and future plans. I sincerely cherish my relationship with Gus, as I am sure, that’s a common feeling, among the hundreds of doctors and nurses and allied health care providers, that Gus helped in, pursuing their goals of relocating to the Gulf Region.

IHR-Canada facilitated my dream of working in Madinah. Mr. Ghassan Ibrahim and his team are awesome. They are very professional and always available. Mr. Ibrahim used to answer my texts and emails on weekends and at odd hours of the night. I used to get my queries answered almost immediately. IHR, right at the start of the whole process, explained how long the process was going to be and what steps were involved. They thereafter reiterated at every stage what steps had been accomplished and what lay ahead and the usual timeframe in their experience to complete that step in the process. They were very patient and supportive. This was a big move on my and my family's part and Mr. Ibrahim and his team did an excellent job in calming our nerves and being very open and upfront with all information and expectations. It took me 5 months after the interview to travel to Madinah and I had considered that a very slow process. It was only after I started working that I found out that my process had taken amongst the shortest time for expatriates coming to work at the same hospital.
